Because it’s early, we’ll be rolling it out on an a per-course/book basis - the first one is for the beta readers of “Clojure for React Developers”. 

What’s awesome about inline commenting is that it will let students ask questions about specific passages within their learning experience.

Right now, there are a few limitations, and we’re going to add/fix as we go. They are:

They are:<ol><li>the inline commenting doesn’t work for code blocks right now, but we’ve nearly fixed that</li><li>the comment is plain-text — but we’ve added a mini-editor so that they can be rich text, which is almost finished</li><li>the authors get notifications within newline, but no emails yet - also no emails to students for replies,&nbsp;yet&nbsp;- we’re adding that</li><li>these comments need to be pulled into their own “page” so that way we have more space to leave longer, technical answers with code (depends on #2)</li><li>we also are going to add a “suggest” feature — this way folks who find typos or want to make changes can simply suggest inline, the community can vote on the changes, the authors can merge them in — it will make bug-fixes way, way easier</li></ol>We'll be rolling out inline commenting into the rest of the books and courses over the next few weeks and we're so excited for you to try them out!-Nate
