## Cookie Footer

The landing page has a requirement for a banner at the bottom of the page to display legal messaging for the end-user who has to accept or deny cookies per GDPR standards. In Figma, the mockup displays a footer with a message and two buttons. Once the user accepts or denies cookies, a request must be sent to the backend to save their preference in the database. To support this feature, you'll develop a UI component that displays the footer and service that makes HTTP POST requests to the `/api/cookies` REST endpoint.

This component's functionality resembles `AppHeader` in some ways, although the service you'll build requires two requests: a `GET` request to determine whether or not to display the `CookieFooter` and a `POST` request to update the backend with the option the user chose by clicking on one of the buttons in `CookieFooter`. Otherwise, `CookieFooter` still requires some styling and a template, methods that handle click events and some initial logic that determines if the component should be displayed or hidden.

To get started, make a new directory in `packages/client/src/component` for footer components.

Use the `@Component` decorator to establish the tag name, styling, and template for a new `class` named `CookieFooter` that extends `HTMLElement`. Instantiate the `class` with a new `constructor` that calls `attachShadow`.

### Styling

To achieve the styling shown in the mockup, give `:host` flex box characteristics that separate the `HTMLParagraphElement` and `HTMLDivElement` on either side of the footer.

Fix some issues with the buttons by setting `align-self` to `right`, giving the container `display: flex` and establishing the `height`.

Finally, style the content appropriately for mobile devices by adding a media query that targets any design below 720px.

### Handling Click Events

When the user clicks on a button, the component will call on a service method that doesn't exist yet. At the very least, make an empty callback for the event listener on each button named `updateCookiePermission`, which should take a boolean: `true` when the user clicks the **Accept** button or `false` when the user clicks the **Deny** button.

Import the `@Listen` decorator from `@in/common` to attach the event listeners.

Declare two new methods on the `CookieFooter class` for each click listener on both buttons. Target the buttons by class name in the second argument of `Listen` and supply methods that call `updateCookiePermission` with the appropriate value.
